Information and Rules for the Bathtub Races 2011
Tuesday, July 26th at 6pm

We provide the bathtubs!
Please do not bring your own balloons to throw....we will provide approx 8,000+ water balloons that can be purchased for a great deal of 5 balloons for $1 (proceeds benefit Water4Kids).
Each team will consist of 3 people.
There will be 3 categories for teams: Youth (ages 10-16) $10 team entry fee, Adult (ages 17+) $15 per team entry fee and Corporate $50 per team entry fee. Make checks payable to: Water4Kids
Pre-registration is for Corporate teams Only. Youth and Adult teams must register early at the event. Registration starts at 5:00pm. See entry fees above. First come/first served as there are a limited number of spots per category.
Any corporate team must consist of 3 current employees of the particular business.
1 person inside the tub, 1 person pulling the tub, and 1 person pushing the tub.
All members will wear proper safety equipment – Helmet and Life Jacket (provided) – However, team members are encouraged to provide own safety equipment for proper fit.
The team in each category with the best two times will compete in the final. The winner of the final race is determined by best time.
2 seconds will be added to a team’s time for an infraction – infractions include: knocking over a cone or missing a cone and not reporting to your scheduled race on time.
5 seconds will be added to a team’s time if there is a false start
Please wear only appropriate/modest attire to this event.
Your team must register/ check-in by 5:45pm to participate in the race. Registration will open at 5:00pm.
Prizes: Youth = Cash Prize (1st Place - $60; 2nd Place - $30) Adult = Cash prize (1st Place - $120; 2nd Place - $60)
Business First Place = Trophy to be passed on year to year (winner of this trophy will also be given a free pass into next year’s races)
